Chaminade Portfolio Creating Pathways Portfolio Camp
This portfolio camp hosted by Mr. Perrotta has taught me a lot. The question that stays in my head after attending this camp is, “How can you show that you are a STEM student?” Sure, you can write that you have S.T.E.M credentials on your résumé, but you need to prove it. This portfolio camp is where I learned how to start a Twitter account and a WordPress blog to share my learning. As I apply for a job in the future, employers can look up my name, and they can find my Twitter account, which also has my WordPress linked to it. This is what separates me from other students in advanced learning programs. Through WordPress, I show the new ideas I have learnt, the interests I have. My online portfolio shows that I am a real person, not just a piece of paper.
